shelves filled with books and documents relevant to
the NGO community. |
The Cyber Cafe attempts
to fill the gap in ICT by providing member NGOs and
other development actors fast connection to the internet
with integration to the World Space distance education
services.

Environment and other development concerns. |
CRDA ever since its
existence has produced and published momentous
documents and also sponsored the publication of various
research papers. Behold the titles at
NGO DOCs and also on the specific categories they
fall. |

Located at CRDA Secretariat's office, the Resource Center has a large number of
resources available ranging from printed materials and CDs to audio/video
cassettes. The Resource Center has more than 2600 books available falling
under categories of Agriculture, Advocacy, Children, Development, Education,
Gender, Health, HIV/AIDS, Information Technology, PRSP, Water, Environment,
Food Security and other NGO and government policy papers. It also has a
collection of more than 600 training manuals and workshop proceedings of CRDA
and other organizations, including research documents and reports. Furthermore,
the Resource Center acquires various periodical publications of the country
and has a Reference Section that contains Amharic as well as foreign
language dictionaries, encyclopedias, various directories and yellow pages.
More than 35 CDs on different development issues and over 200 video cassettes
on various sectors, mainly, agriculture, health, HIV/AIDS, gender, children,
environment, management, etc. are also available.
